Personal: I was born (and still live) in Stockton, California. I am an April Fool (a birthday which I share with Anne McCaffrey and Samuel R. Delaney!). I have three teenagers--two daughters and a son. I'm registered as a Libertarian. I'm bisexual but in a m/m relationship. I'm an apostate/agnostic with atheist leanings. I've been HIV+ since 2000. I lived in Buenos Aires in 2003 where I volunteered for Green Peace.
Professional: I'm Poetry Editor for Doorways Magazine and co editor of the SFPA’s annual Dwarf Stars Award anthology. My writing has appeared previously in such places as Romantics Quarterly, HaikuHut, Dark Wisdom, Space and Time Magazine, ChiZine, Star*Line, Poet’s Espresso, The Book of Tentacles, The Vault of Punk Horror, Shadow Box, Black Box, Raw Meat, Avant-Garde for the New Millennium and She Nailed a Stake Through His Head: Tales of Biblical Terror (to name a few). I've been a finalist for L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future, won writing contests at The Goreletter, Wicked Carnival and ChiZine, been nominated for a Gaylactic Spectrum Award and several Rhysling Awards and received an Honorable Mention in Year's Best Fantasy and Horror 19. I belong to the HWA (Horror Writers Association) and SFPA (Science Fiction Poetry Association).
